It's a Girl!!!

Today we had our ultrasound for baby #2 and we found out its a girl!! We did things a little differently this time where we asked the ultrasound tech to not tell us what the baby is but instead write it down and put it in an envelope for us. I found it not very special or unique when we're in the dark room and they say, "It's a...girl!" It's hard to have a good reaction yet alone let it truly sink in when we are continually looking at the screen cause it's so fun to see the baby move around. I really like how we did it this time.

Jamie has a crazy-busy schedule so we squeezed in a quick dinner at classy Applebee's (without Luke) to open the envelope. We ordered our food and then I grabbed the envelope and said, "ready?" Jamie said yes, but he wanted to open it. That was fine by me. So he opened it and it said, "Looks like a girl". YAY!!! I would have been happy with either because they both have pros but I wanted a girl more because then I have one boy and one girl. Jamie was a little surprised but I think it was because he thought that the Fischer's only have boys, which statistically is pretty accurate. But not this time! We have pink coming our way! I know Jamie is happy with the result, I think he was just shocked. I won't post any ultrasound pictures because they are kind of weird and frankly, all babies look like little aliens anyway. Ours is a cute alien though :)

Everything else is going well here. Spring has FINALLY come and we've been enjoying going on walks, the dogs like it too!, Luke likes walking in rocks and on gravel, and just being outside.

Shoving as much as he can in

Typical Luke, rearranging and moving things.

The Lift Bridge last Thursday before they closed it for flooding. It isn't supposed to crest until this Thursday so the water is higher already.

Looking south at Lowell Park, at least the boats have it alright!

Trying out his first popsicle!

It's not so bad!

Eating more things, this time a hockey stick. I love his eyebrows in this photo!

Last week was a rough week. Luke popped his fourth molar through but also had a bad cold. He could only take naps if it were on us (oh darn) so we soaked it in and let him cuddle with us. Jamie just got home from a week and a half in Louisiana here so he was MORE than happy to cuddle up. Luckily, Luke is better now, but I loved that cuddle time! (I think Luke is covering his ears here because Jamie was watching "Top Shot" on the History Channel-boring!)

We hope everyone has a great week and are enjoying the nice weather here in MN finally! Love to you all!
